Individual policies can be purchased for an employee, his/her spouse, any children and/or grandchildren. These policies can be purchased for children and grandchildren ages newborn through 23 for approximately $1.15/week for a $10,000 policy or $2.30/week for a $20,000 policy.
Your personal and/or family coverage will continue with no loss of benefits or increase in price if you lose your job after the first premium is paid. In a case like this the insurance company will simply bill you directly. Your coverage cannot be cancelled by the insurance company or your employer unless you stop paying your premiums.
Emergency Burial Benefit
Within 24 hours after receiving notice of an insured’s death, an emergency death benefit of the lesser of 50% of the coverage amount, or $15,000 will be mailed to the insured’s beneficiary, unless the death is within the two-year contestability period and/or under investigation.

Accidental Death Benefit
Protector AD’s accidental death benefit is guaranteed to double over time while premiums remain level and are guaranteed. The policy builds cash value which, after the 20th year, equals 20 annual premiums. At the end of the 20th year, a return-of-premium (ROP) option is available, and is based on the annual premium. If the ROP option is elected, the coverage terminates. Otherwise, coverage continues with annually increasing premiums.

“In the past three (3) years, have you had any participation in, or contemplate any future participation in any hazardous sport or aviation, or had your driver’s license suspended or revoked, or in the past five (5) years have you been convicted of operating a vehicle while intoxicated?”
